The Federal ministry of women Affairs as part of it’s contribution to uplift Nigerian women in the area of leadership and Nation Building has partnered with Prime Unique Women Initiative(PUWI). The partnership is currently galvanizing enormous support for women Leadership and development for Nation Building. The leadership Etiquette workshop for women leaders is taking place in Istanbul Turkey.
Declaring the program open in Istanbul, the Hon Minister Dame Pauline Tallen OFR KSG urge participants to embrace and adopt lessons learnt from the workshop as vital tools for development. She made this declaration through her representative Engr Adebiyi Olufunso, the permenant secretary of the Ministry.
In her words Women are the fulcrum of development in every nation, calling on more women to set up structures to enable the women folk flourish and make a mark towards nation Building.
Amongst the participants in attendance were Women leaders in government, women groups and professional bodies.
The ministry of women Affairs has consistently organized developmental programs to promote, expose and build the capacity of women in their respective fields.
The convener of the event and president of Prime Unique Women Initiative Dr Folake Joy Yobah fimc,cmc promised to expose more women to such international workshops for women to continually attain best practices in leadership and development.
