A 2day workshop on Domestic violence part 1Theme : Curbing the menace of Domestic violence.Organized by Ministry of women Affairs and prime unique women Initiative,accorded women leaders from kwara,
Nassarawa,kaduna,Jigawa,Benue etc to discuss on the subject,and proffer practical solutions for victims,and punishable measures for perpetrators. Her Excellency Dame Pauline Tallen OFR KSG the Honorary Minister of women Affairs flanked off the occasion with a keynote speech ,while Senator Mohammed Bima chaired the occasion,also in attendance was the permanent secretary of the ministry Amb Anthonia Ekpa phd , the first ladies of kwara, Benue and Nassarawa states respectively.In the audience ,we also had commissioners of women affairs from various states as well as permanent secretaries,desk officers etc.
The workshop hammered on practicable approach in creating awareness for victims, discussion sessions,technical sessions and deep dive sessions for an encompassing impact for all participants,a communique is expected to follow for a veritable impact amongst various stakeholders
