Women Leadership & National Development Conference

Nigerian women leaders are set to visit Rwanda for this year’s women leadership and national development conference 2021.
The Federal Ministry of Women Affairs of Nigeria as part of its collaborative efforts to expand the leadership space of Nigerian women is partnering Prime Unique Women Initiative[PUWI] to espouse newer strategies in Women Leadership And National Development.
The programme billed for October 18th – 21st in Kigali, Rwanda is designed to create a holistic roadmap to provide a guide in jointly planning, implementing and monitoring programs and projects to address emerging issues of National development, build on emerging skills in women, leadership and governance.
Participants will explore and leverage on contemporary leadership issues and women roles, galvanizing on existing success stories of Rwandan women in governance.
Rwanda has been internationally lauded for its efforts in promoting women leadership.
This programme is designed to build on the success story of Rwanda and create holistic inclusiveness for women of both countries to compare notes positively for national development.
This strategic programme of top notch women leaders and professionals will build on the advocacy around increasing women’s participation in National development.
During the programme, various strategic master class capacity building methodologies and sessions on propagating the dynamics expected to increase visibility of women in governance.
Highlight of the event will be an official opening ceremony, keynote address delivered by the Hon Minister of Women Affairs H.E. Pauline Tallen OFR, KSG. The event will feature discussion sessions, lectures, certification, town hall meetings with women from Nigeria and Rwanda, B2B sessions, visits to places of interest etc.
Interesting tracks on Emotional Intelligence, Women Empowerment, Leading Through a Global Crisis, Identifying Leadership Potentials amongst other topics will be delivered by highly experienced professionals in the fields of leadership, peace building and governance.
